Multi Tear Backing Range

A versatile embroidery backing available in a choice of weights and colours. Manufactured using a wet-laid process, it offers a paper-like texture while maintaining strength and stability.

• Weights available – 40 g/m², 50 g/m² and 60 g/m².
• Colours – White or Black.
• Composition – 67% biodegradable fibres and 33% recyclable fibres (plastic).
• Manufacturing process – Wet-laid structure with special fibres for added stability.
• Tear behaviour – Multi-direction easy tear, no need for cross-laying.
• Handle – Slightly stiffer feel, providing added stability during embroidery.
• Roll size – 100 cm width × 100 m length.
• Pre-cut service – Available at an additional £8.95 per 100 m roll.

Approximate yield from a 100 m roll (when cut to size):

• 14.25 × 14.25 cm = ~5,000 pieces
• 16.5 × 16.5 cm = ~3,636 pieces
• 20 × 20 cm = ~2,500 pieces
• 25 × 25 cm = ~1,600 pieces
• 33.3 × 33.3 cm = ~900 pieces
