At ETC Supplies, we’re always up for a bit of fun, especially when it’s for a good cause. This Pancake Day, we decided to go all out with a day of delicious food and lively team challenges – all in the name of charity! Our goal? To raise money for Save the Children while enjoying some well-earned treats.
The morning was all about creativity in the kitchen. Staff were encouraged to bring in their favourite toppings, from classic lemon and sugar to extravagant chocolate, jam, and fruit combos. The results? A mix of mouth-watering masterpieces! But it wasn’t just about taste – we also ran a ‘Prettiest Pancake’ contest, where everyone voted for the best-looking creation. The winning pancake was a true work of art, and its creator walked away with a well-deserved prize!
With everyone fuelled up, the afternoon brought a more active challenge – ‘Stepping Pancakes!’ Inspired by the stepping stones game, this test of balance and teamwork required participants to cross a ‘river’ using pancake-shaped stepping stones. Three teams competed, strategising and laughing their way across, but only one could win. Team 2 claimed the victory and celebrated with a big bag of chocolates.
The best part of the day? Raising an amazing £300 for Save the Children. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, took part, and helped make the event such a success. We can’t wait for our next charity fundraiser!
