Squint Embroidery

Squint Embroidery

"My embroidery is coming out squint. Help!"

Helpdesk Response

The best way to overcome this problem is to use a professional framing table. However, to save money you could make a template with a slot for the outer frame or use a spare nest frame so that it is in straight and guidelines drawn on the table to keep the garment square. Once you have decided the position of the design draw a cross (+) with chalk on the garment and this should ease framing. The extremities of the cross should help the positioning and will keep the design straight and this should be used in conjunction with the knurled screw of the outer frame.
